- Cortes was pretty rich and had his fair share of power, but somehow he always wanted more.
- In 1518 he arrived to the mainland with originally 11 ships, 500 mens, a few cannons and just 13 horses.
- AAAAH!!
- As soon as they arrived, Cortes and his men started warring with various native tribes.
- After winning one of this battle in Tabasco, they were gifted 20 young indigenous women. Whom they immediately converted to Cristianity.
- So, after Hernan Cortes come back from his business, he found Montezuma dead.
- Once again, the spanish claimed he was killed by his own men while the Aztecs said that he was killed by the Spanish. In the following months, the siege of Thenochtitlan commenced, a bloody battle which the conquistadors won with a help of three major factors.
