Don't worry, I'm here to help. Lets get you to the doctor.
Well dear, it looks like youre tests show that you caught chlamydia. Don't worry, it is a simple treatment. Since you came in so early you're less likely to have any long term effects from your infection. I advise you to speak with your partner about your results.
Telling your partner
I had to speak to you to let you know that you need to get tested.
Thank you for telling me! I will!
Two college roommates. One admits to the other of having unprotected intercourse with a new sexual partner, and having symptoms of burning urination and discomfort. They decide to take her to a clinic to find out what has happened.
The roommate takes the girl to a clinic to get tested for STIs. She is positive for chlamydia. She will be treated and cured simply. The doctor explains she since she came in sooner rather than later she is not likely to have any long residual term effects of her infection (e.g. infertility).
The girl discusses her results with her new partner. Communication is key to decreasing transmission.
