Advice for upcoming seventh graders regarding Social Studies
My favorite thing to learn about was westward expansion because we got to learn about the gold rush. Another thing I enjoyed learning about was the Mexican American war because it was fun to learn about how the Texans used the Alamo as a morale booster and how they came together to defeat a nation
Advice for upcoming seventh graders regarding the junior high
"what side of the fence do you want to be on ?" -Mr.Read
My least favorite thing learned this year was the American revolution because learning about why America seceded from Great Britain. This whole chapter just made me mad at Britain which I don't mind because Great Britain isn't America so it's automatically worse but this chapter almost made it my least favorite country.
Things I'll miss from this year
Some things I would tell next years students about social studies would be try hard, don't cheat, read the WebQuests, and have the highest test average because you'll become the favorite class.
Things I am going to look forward to next year
Some advice I would give to seventh graders about the junior high would be don't get called down to the office by Mr.Chase because you are most likely in trouble, be respectful to the teachers, and be respectful to all the rest of the workers in the junior high.
I'm gonna miss the educational "rants" that Mr.Read would do because they helped me make a lot of decisions on what I would put into my paragraph for tests and he always went into detail about it which helped understand what would need to be done so that you understand the applications to the real world and I'm also gonna miss all the fun times I had with friends.
Some things I'm gonna look forward to next year are new teachers, new opportunities to better myself, more friends to meet, and another season of wrestling, football, and track.
