- Freak and I are still a couple blocks from the pond, just kind of easing our way along when these punks start mouthing off. And max knew it was Tony D
- After Tony D starts to talk to them Max is afraid of him but kevin starts smart mouthing him and then he stats chasing them when trying to run away
- While Max and Kevin are running away from Tony D and his gang Max notices that he can hear Tony D swinging his switchblade at him
- Tony D flees after he hears cop cars and Max and Kevin go to the pond
- Then Max notices that Kevin cant see so he goes to lift im on his shoulders
- So Max lifts Kevin on his shoulders and starts to yell the chemicals and what"s in fireworks
