  • Pack of crazy fools, listening to the young folks, nothing's good enough for them. Next thing you know, they'll be wanting to go back to living in caves...

  • Old Man Warner despises the idea of there being no lotteries
  • After every man of the house has drawn, they then open up their slips of paper. Bill opens his and finds out that his family has been drawn for the lottery. Tessie is furious
