Foil is having is when the story has a character that has traits that enhances other traits of other character Authors use foil because it helps brings out traits of other characters . it's 1885 in London
Dr. Jekyll is a successful because be he worked hard went through college and became a doctor. He is curious because he had the thought and he wanted to know if it was true so he did it on himself. and lastly he is intelligent be discovered that there is a high mind and a low mind and he can up with a formula that would chand him by is high and low mind
Mr. Hyde is greedy because he wanted to control the the body and didn't let Dr.Jekyll be in control. He is also impulsive an example of Mr. Hyde being impulsive is in the beginning of the story where he ran into a girl and beat he without hesitating. and the lasted thing is that he is disrespectful he doesn't talk to be as kindly as he should. an example of this it when he is talking to Utterson
