- John White returns to Roanoke with a group of women, men and children and find the fort destroyed and bones of 15 men.
- John White tells everyone how the soil is not as fertile as they had planned and must return back to England for more supplies.
- It had been almost a year since John White left and the colony is having a feast when they discover a demon.
