  • In this experiment we completed, I liked how we each calculated statistics (mean, stand deviation, SEM, & confidence interval).
  • I agree! It helped give a better understanding of what each statistic meant and comparing the results helped see why there were such differences between the two islands.
  • In addition, I liked how Experimental Island lacked lizards.
  • It led to an isolated area for these lizards which made it easy to see how they were adapting compared to those on Iron Cay.
  • Someshing else done well was the sample size and quality of the control group.
  • Yes! Our control group being all male lizards led to unbiased results. Also, our sample size of 10 let us measure many lizards to compare and contrast their differences. This led to our results that Iron Cay lizards had longer legs than those on Experimental Island.
  • This experiment could be improved by using a different measuring technique.
  • We need a specific starting point for measuring that allows us to get more accurate results.
  • What also could've been improved is measuring the tail instead of measuring the hindlimb.
  • This would make measuring easier as the tail is a line where the hindlimb has many turns.
  • Overall, I wish we were told more information about the lizards.
  • You could be told more information on adaptation and what factored into the shorter legs on Experimental Island.
