- At the beginning of the narrative prosperous causes a storm using its magic, causing the boat where Alonso, Sebastian, Antonio, Ferdinand and Gonzalo were to sink.
- Act 3

- On the other side of the island Sebastian and Antonio planned to kill Alonso and Gonzalo so that Sebastian would be king of Naples

- Caliban tells stephano from the spellbook of prosperity and the two plan together to kill Prospero and steal his spellbook, but Ariel overhears everything.

- Ferdinand falls in love with Miranda and the two become engaged
- Stephano and Caliban go to Prospero's cave to kill him, but prospero had already done a spell to protect himself and Stephano and Caliban ended up running away from the dogs of the prospero spell.
- Alonso finds his son Ferdinand. Prospero forgives Alonso and leaves with him to Naples for Miranda and Ferdinand's wedding. Prospero throws the book into the sea and stops using magic.
