Storyboard Text

  • Ask for forgiveness and after being baptised, you will be new inside.

  • John the Baptist was a simple man who didn't want much in life. He lived off of locusts and honey and didn't have much items or a house. He was a preacher and told people to ask for forgiveness. He would baptise people to make them feel new inside. He would go and teach other people about this as he would travel the desert.
  • Jesus Asks For Baptism
  • " I have came to be baptised, John."
  • "How could i baptise you? I am just a regular man. You are the saviour.
  • One day 2 men named the Sadducees and Pharisees came to be taught and baptised by John The Baptist. John's rule was that you had to be sorry for your past actions but the 2 men would not be sorry so John had to turn them away.
  • The Baptism Of Jesus
  • People would come from a long way a way to be baptised in the River Jordan by John The Baptist. Everyone wondered if John was the saviour God had sent but John heard what was going around and told everyone,someone much greater was coming.This man would be the amazing saviour that has been awaited.
  • The Holy Spirit
  • "This is my Son, I love him and I am pleased with him."
  • Then one day Jesus came to be Baptised. John was surprised that John himself, a regular man that Jesus was asking to be baptised by him. Jesus was the saviour. Then John said " You should baptise me, you are the Lord". Jesus still asked to be baptised by John.
  • "It is important that it happens to me."
  • "You should baptise me. You are the Lord."
  • Jesus insisted that John baptised him so John went ahead and baptised Jesus in the River Jordan.

  • When Jesus' head was uncovered from under the water, the sky opened up and the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a beautiful white dove.. The voice from Heaven then said, "This is my son, I love him and I am pleased with him."
