Mistress Mary Quite Contrary
When Basil comes.
go away!
Basil makes up a song.
Mistress Mary Quite Contrary How does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockle shells, and marigolds all in a row
I choose this scene because I find it both funny and rude.Quote: "she was playing by herself under a tree"
The other children play along as well
The reason I like this bit is because she is angry and annoyed and sometimes I can be like that.Quote: "Go away! I don't like boys."
The children laugh and make fun of Mary
Haha! Mistress Mary!
The reason I like this part of the scene is because she is is very angry at Basil and Basil isn't listening to her.
The end.
Where is home?
I like this bit because they start to play along which we all can be mean to each other sometimes.
Mistress Mary Quite Contrary!
I don;t really like this bi of the scene because the children a being mean to Mary but I still find it very interesting.
At the end the Children tell her that she's going home. but Mary doesn't know where home is..Quote: Where is home?
You're going home!
