Lenin restores order: war and the revolution destroyed the Russia economy. trade was at a stand-still, industrial production dropped, as any skilled workers fled to other countries.

communist party: the name came from the writings of karl Marx. he used the word communism to describe the classless society that would exists after workers had seized power.
