Storyboard Text

  • Then I will sue you!
  • Actually I do not want to trade anymore...
  • ok Mother
  • Robert go do your chores!
  • Ugh! I'll be back!!!!
  • You are BANISHED for murder!!!!!
  • Verbal agreements are binding. The victim can sue for violation of the agreement. I believe this because if they are being mean to you they deserve to be punished also.
  • You may own the land
  • THANKYOU!!!!
  • Parents have ultimate power over their children. No one else has power over their children. I think this is a good thing because the parents can control them/ make sure they are staying out of trouble and other people can't drag/push them around.
  • 'Limb for Limb!"
  • I didn't even touch you!
  • Murder was punished by banishment, or being forced out of a country. I agree with this because then they don't have a chance of another murder for a while.
  • You can sue me but it's not a crime!!!
  • Hey you stole that!!!!!
  • All women could own property, make contracts and wills, and bring a lawsuit. I agree with this because it is not fair that boy's get more rights.
  • Assault was punishable by the saying a “limb for a limb” for physical injuries. Victim can bring a civil suit. In my opinion this should not be a thing because they might overuse the terms "limb for limb" even if someone is not actually assaulting them.
  • Robbery was not a crime. The victim could sue the robber for up to three times the value of the stolen property. I believe this should be a crime because they are taking something that isn't theirs.
