Storyboard Text

  • Alexander, you will take over the role of your father. His death was very saddening, but the Gods would've wanted this.
  • No one has ever been able to untie that knot!
  • We are going to win this war because of my brilliance and this myth.
  • Pharaoh Alexander, we are forever gratful for you to be leading us. Thank you for not battling us!
  • When Alexander's father perished, he was to take over and become king at 20 years old. He and everyone else thought that the gods would've wanted him to be king. (336 B.C.E)
  • We are too tired! We cannot march farther!
  • Let's march men!
  • Alexander had set out to fight the Persians, but stopped in Gordium in Asia Minor to see if a legend was real. If anyone untied the knot, they would rule all of Asia. He took this a sign of prosperity. (334 B.C.E.)
  • I feel sick.

  • In 332 B.C.E., Alexander went to Egypt to battle and conquer them. Instead of fighting, Egypt surrendered and crowned Alexander pharaoh, but left to grow more.
  • On behalf of Alexander's wife, kids, and friends, we all are sorry and will miss your great leadership. Rest In Peace.
  • He died of malaria!
  • After the Persian King died, Alexander wanted to explore further into the Indus Valley River in India, but his soldiers could not go further. They were exhausted and done. (327 B.C.E.)
  • Alexander was disappointed that his men could not travel any farther, so he made a long walk home. He left India in 325 B.C.E., but never made it to Greece. He had died.
  • Once Alexander had died in 323 B.C.E., he didn't give anyone power. Everyone had to fight it out and it ultimately caused chaos. He was buried in a golden coffin in Egypt.
