- During the 1800's, a man had to face a trial made by The Spanish Inquisition. He fainted during it.
- I am so sick
- Guilty! Death sentence?
- When he waked up, he realised he was unbound, but in complete darkness
- My clothes are diferrent, now I'm wearing a wrapper of coarse serge
- Immediately, he realised he had almost fell into a pit
- My lips do not touch the floor, and that smell of decayed fungus is terrible. This is a pit! How many else are there in here?
- After drinking a water with a draught, he fell asleep. Thanks to a sulphurous lustre, he was able to see his surrounding, and he realised he was tied
- Later on, he realised there was an object moving above him, like the pendulum of the old clocks. He also saw a lot of rats coming from the pit
- It produces a hellish sound
- After some time, he could see the pendulum descending. It was a sharp half moon. He had period of crisis, and peace; with constants faintings. Also, the rats ate the meat of the plate
