Storyboard Text

  •   Issac Newton was born on January   4th, 1643 in Colsterworth, United Kindom
  • Issac had a rough childhood. His father was a wealthy farmer , but died 2 months before Issac was born. His mother left him with his grandparents at age 3  and remarried.  He worked on the farm as a child.
  • Newton attended Cambridge University to study science and mathematics.
  • A myth tells us that an  apple fell on Issac Newton's head when he came back to his childhood home, This caused Issac to think about why the apple fell down instead of upwards or sideways.
  • Newton developed the 3 laws of motion which form the basic principles of modern physics, With his discovery of calculus, he had a more powerful way of solving mathematical problems.
  • in 1687, Newton published his first principle stating that every particle in the universe is attracted to every other particle with a force  that is directly  proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. With this information he figured out why the planets orbited around the sun.
