- Humans come along and build a road through the rainforest.
- The habitat is now depleted of it's apex predator and can no longer efficiently function.
- Jaguars are sometimes faced with natural barriers such as rivers but they are adept swimmers, but they can't swim through cars
- But with wildlife corridors or land bridges the Jaguars can safely cross
- through their habitat as they please.
