  • No one shall pass this line!
  • NO TRESSPASSING!
  • Boston Massacre
  • Boston Tea Party
  • How dare they lower our tea prices!
  • The Proclamation was made to forbid all settlements west of the Appalachian Mountains. The colonists were not happy because they wanted to continue westward. 
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • You must obey these new laws
  • The Boston Massacre took place in 1770 and in Boston (it's in the name). The British shot 5 colonists after a mob on a lone guard.
  • Battles of Lexington And Concord
  • The Boston Tea Party took place in 1773, following the Tea Act which angered many colonists. To show their anger they decided to dump 23 thousand of tea into the harbor to anger the British.
  • Declaration of Independence
  • I now see ourselves as our own country!
  • The Intolerable Acts was the series of punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea party. They were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in throwing a large tea shipment into Boston harbor.
  • The Battles of Lexington and Concord were a series of battles between the British and the colonists. This transformed into the American Revolution.
  • The Declaration of Independence was when the colonists declared themselves apart from the British government and became an independent country.
