- Kate is getting ready to go to work and she woke up early enough so she can take her time to get ready. Her daughter Hailey is on her way downstairs she was telling her mom how she was learning about magnetism in science
- Sliding Friction
- When Kate goes to open the fridge to get the eggs she realizes that the refrigerator sin't closing and proceed to call er husband downstairs to see what's wrong with it but he can't figure it out either.Then Hailey comes down and trys to help and she remembers that magnetism is used in refrigerators too to keep them closed so she starts to look or the magnet and she finds it on the ground and sticks it back on and proceeds to laugh at her parents saying even I know that and I'm 13 !
- Elastic
- If you think about it this way if their was gravity in space then we would all be falling eternally because their is no ground in space unless you land on a planet because we would just stay flat on the ground with gravity but with no surface to land on we would be screaming forever unless we fall through a planet.
- I'm practicing for my ice hockey match and I always wondered what if their were no skates and I was like well how would it work without sliding friction because if you tried to play hockey without it then how would u glide across the ice to score you just wouldn't be able to so for all the hockey players be thankful for sliding friction !
- I'm going bungee jumping but I'm not sure which type of rope to choose so I searched up what is the difference between bungee cord and regular rope and it says that bungee cords are elastic and it stretches to a extreme amount so when you jump you fall far enough but their is a limit to how far you fall down.So I guess I'm going with the bungee cord wish me luck
