Yanek Gruener is a 13 year old boy hiding from the viscous Nazis with his family in a pigeon coop. In the fall of 1942.
Yanek is now a prisoner at the Plaskow concentration camp, in 1942. This camp was known as one the harshest camps out of of the other camps through out Germany and other countries the Nazis controlled.
It has been two years since Yanek has seen his family. He has survived two years at Plaskow concentration camp and is now a prisoner at the Wielicka Salt mine.
Yanek is now 15 years old and hasnt seen his family in about 3 years . He has some how survived three concentration camps. Yanek and four thousand other Jews have been cramped together in a train for four days now.
Yanek and fore thousand other slaves were horrifically tricked into the thought of being in gas chambers and diying. Yanek liked to call this the Nazi games. But these so called gas chambers were only showers. Yanek hadn't taken a shower or felt warm water in over 4 years.
Yanek and seven thousand other Jews go on a death march . it was winter of 1945 many Jews didn't have any shows or jackets thousands died of hypothermia.
