As we all know, COVID 19 had turned our lives upside down like a roller coaster. Some had lost their jobs, suffer hunger, and the worst case, some lost their loved ones. COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus. Symptoms of this are fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches and headache.
Covid-19 is spread in three ways: breathing in air when close to an infected person; having small droplets and particles that contain virus land on the eyes, nose, or mouth, especially through splashes and sprays like a cough or sneeze; touching eyes, nose, or mouth with hands that have the virus on them.
Here are some useful tips and ways of preventing COVID-19: 1. Wash your hands frequently and carefully.2. Avoid touching your face in public places.3. Avoid shaking hands and hugging people- for now. 4. Do not share personal items5. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze.6. Clean and disinfect surfaces regularly.
7. Take physical and social distancing seriously.8. Do not gather into groups.9. Avoid eating and drinking in public places.10. Wash free groceries.11.Always wear a mask in public places12. Self- quarantine if sick
It is understandable that following these is not that easy because we used to live the normal way, but we should all follow these guidelines diligently to slow the spread of the virus, flatten the curve and give break to our front liners especially the health workers.
