After the 7 year war, the British needed money so they started taxing the colonists. Before this, they left them alone in a state of salutary neglect this called on a revolution.
The Boston Massacure
The British taxed the Americans without permission and became skeptical that the British only wanted to watch them. after, they developed the argument they had no representation in parliament.
The Boston Tea party
fast foward, the British developed some new laws that enforced taxes on stamps and things like licenses so you have to pay for paper to make it legal. They went on a boycott to not buy stamps and the sons of liberty lead protests.
I call a revolution!
amidst all of this, the Boston massacre occurred. it started with some patriots throwing snowballs, stones, and calling the British names. the soldiers retaliated and fired killing five colonists. the colonists did not like this and a small argument soon became a massacure.
that hurt you hoes
After the massacre, the Boston tea party happened. Since there was a tax on tea that the colonists were paying more for, they disguised themselves as Native Americans and threw all the tea from the ships into the harbor.
after the tea party, it started a blame game between the British and the colonists. The British punished the colonists with the intolerable acts. The brits thought these four laws would fix things, but wow were they wrong...
