  • Although tanks were successful, powerful, and terrifying, when used against the Germans, they were mechanically highly unreliable. They did however allow soldiers to advance battlefield without being killed by machine guns.

  • Sanitary napkins were made from cotton, a highly absorment material, use to soak up bleeding from injured soldiers. This made it easier for preventing the bleeding in wounds, saving soldier's lives.

  • Airplanes
  • Machine guns allowed soldiers to shoot bullets at a rate of 400-600 rounds per minute. This technology was seen as a dominate device because it was high in advancement to kill the enemies.
  • Submarines made it easier to attack its target's ships and armored hull due to the new technology being underwater.
  • Airplanes were first used by the Turks but were not widespread until 1914-18. Allowed for reconnaissance of the enemy position and attacks from the air. They were also used for spying of the enemy.
