Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I love the old man, i have no desire for his gold. It is the eye! yes, yes it is.
  • Initial Incident/Conflict
  • I can't handle looking at that old mans eye, the only choice I have is to, take the old mans life. I know you think I'm ridiculous but it creeps me out and makes me feel very uneasy.
  • Rising Action
  • In the beginning the main character who is also the narrator, lives in this old run down house. Their is an old man that lives their too. To me the main character seems very arrogant and selfish.
  • Climax
  • The main character decides to take the old mans life one night when he's sleeping. He chooses to do this because he hates the old mans "vulture" eye.
  • Falling Action
  • Sir, tell us what happened! A neighbour called us and told us they heard screaming!
  • The main character for the past week would sneak into the old mans room at 12 o'clock plotting to kill him.
  • Resolution
  • On the eighth day the main character woke up the old man. It was the perfect time to kill him. The main character pulled the old man out of bed and pushed the mattress on top of him. It worked. The old man was dead. Stone dead...
  • The narrator starts hearing the heart beating from the old man that he killed under the floor boards. He starts thinking that the police are mocking him, how could they not hear it.
  • I have already told you what happened. I don't know what you're talking about.
  • The narrator finally admits to killing the old man and hiding him underneath the floor boards.
  • FINE! you want the truth, I killed the old man and chopped him up and hid him under the floor boards.
