- You’re walking home from school alone when you notice someone walking behind you. You have stopped and started a few times to see if they do the same, they do.
- COMBAT THE RISKS
- In this scenario the risky behaviour is my choice to walk home from school alone. Due to this, someone has seen me and decided I was an easy target and begun following me.
- COMBAT THE RISKS
- The level of risk in this situation is very high, I could be getting myself killed, physically hurt and even mentally if this person is capable of that amount of damage. This person could be following me to rob me, stalk me, assault me in any way or even to kill me.
- COMBAT THE RISKS
- To help me out of this situation, I could walk home from school with friends or my siblings.
- If I’m already stuck in this situation I would try to get a picture of the person, perhaps act like I’m taking a picture of myself or take a video of them following me, acting as if I’m FaceTiming a friend, this may also scare them off.
- These things would not only give me an idea of what my chaser looks like but also how far they are behind me. After that, I would walk to a public place such as a shopping centre and call the police. When police arrive I’d have video and photo evidence that they were following me and who they are/what they look like.
