- I need not explain myself to you.
- Viola finds herself washed ashore after a shipwreck. A sailor finds her and tells Viola that he thinks he saw her brother off the coast. Viola isn't sure if she should give herself hope but decides that in the mean time she should get a job for herself. She offers the sailor money to help her disguise herself as a man.
- ACT 3
- Viola, disgused as a male named Cesario quickly becomes Orsino's page. One day while Cesario is delivering a mesage to Olivia from Orsino, Olivia falls in love with Cesario. Thus creating a love triangle where Orsino loves Olivia, Olivia loves Cesario (Viola) and Viola loves Orsino.
- ACT 4
- Meanwhile, Olivia's uncle, Sir Toby; his friend, Sir Andrew Aguecheek and Maria, Olivia's noblewoman, create a plan to make Malvolio act foolishly due to his belief that Lady Olivia is in love with him. Soon after, they locked him in a closet and poked fun at him.
- ACT 5
- Soon, Viola's twin brother, Sebastian, ventures into Illyria. Sebastian encounters Lady Olivia who immediately proposes to him-thinking that he is Cesario. Sebastian accepts this proposal because of Lady Olivia's unquestionable beauty.

- Will you marry me?
- Soon, Viola and Sebastian come into contact with each other. Viola reveals herself to everyone as a female and instantly, Duke Orsino falls in love with her.
- The play ends with the two new couples getting married. Viola to Orsino and Olivia to Sebastian.
