- Ponyboy's at the Hospital
- You can't Pony and you can't Pony after what you did!

- I had too, you could have killed both Pony and Johnny!
- This is what you GET, for trying to take Johnny away from me.
- Worsened at Home
- Give the food to Pony.

- But If not you'll die, why do you say that?
- Because he saved lives, I just fought in a rumble.
- In the fire, Ponyboy got hurt, not Johnny, so Pony goes to the hospital instead. Darry finds out so he bans Dally from every seeing Pony nor Johnny because of letting them do that. Dally get angry at Darry and argument begins. Dally leaves, pissed at Darry.
- Cherry's Betrayel
- Did Johnny kill Bob Sheldon?
- When the tumble happens, Darry and Dally fight instead of the Socs and greasers. They fight because they're angry at each other. The fight causes severe wound on both of them, and the Socs technically win. Both Darry and Pony are hurt after the rumble.
- Fight with the Police
- We're starving
- Since both Pony and Darry are hurt, they have to go home because it would cost too much if both were at the hospital. Darry tells Soda to take care of Ponyboy more than himself, because Pony saved lives while he just fought. This means Darry worsens faster than Pony.
- Pony's End
- Well isn't it weird how the youngest gang member will be last to survive?
- When Cherry and Randy come to visit Pony, the police arrives to confirm if Johnny killed Bob, Cherry thinks about and says; "Yes". Everyone was devastated and they took Johnny and arrested him. Soda tried to stop them, but couldn't. Cherry said that she just couldn't lie about someone killing her boyfriend.
- I'm sorry, but child murder is not to be taken lightly.
- No, he had to, Bob was drowning Ponyboy, his friend.
- Yes.
- Dally starts a fight about Johnny being in jail. The fight got so intense that Dally got shot and died, Johnny, filled with rage, rushes out and manages to escape the prison. Meanwhile, Two-Bit and Steve are in Soda's house. Because of the food scarcity, Darry died long before. A few moments later that same problem causes them both to die as well.
- This is what you get for stealing and acting violently Dallas Winston.

- Johnny returns to Pony's house and he sees Darry, Two-Bit, and Steve lying on the floor. he enters Pony's room and sees Soda reading a book to Ponyboy,. As Johnny gets closer, Soda dies right there, (because of stress, hunger and dehydration). Johnny asks Pony if he's okay, Pony tells Johnny, how weird it is that the youngest one is the last one to survive. Johnny thinks about and realizes the meaning, Ponyboy died. Ponyboy then is seen entering a dining table in the "afterlife", with every dead greaser he knew alive and well, this included his Mom and Dad.
- Pony, can you hear me?
- Soda, Is that you.
- No, it's Johnny
- Wait, WHAT! Pony no
- The gangs alive.
