- I am Eugene bull Connor, the man in charge of police and firemen, I openly supported the Ku Klux Klan when they attacked black ‘freedom fighters’.
- Significance
- I am Martin Luther King Jr. I was an American Baptist minister and a reliable and honest activists. in April 1963, I went to Birmingham, Alabama., a city where public facilities were separated for blacks and whites. the plan was totoforce the desegregation of lunch counters in downtown shops by a non-violent protest. Birmingham was one of the most challenging places to demonstrate for civil rights. i waswas arrested after leading another march. From jail, I wrote a letter saying that people have a moral duty to disobey unjust laws.

- Martin Luther King Jr. was frustrated, he was fed up about the way they were treated. During his detention he wrote the famous “Letter from Birmingham Jail” declaring the moral duty of individuals to disobey unjust laws.
