- Militarism was the first cause of the WWI because the leaders are building and upgrade their empire to gain more power.
- Alliances is the second cause because with more people on each side, it could turn from a argument to a war.
- Imperialism is a third cause because the leaders wanted to expand their power and wealth by controlling other countries.
- Nationalism was the fourth cause because Serbia wanted a free country, without Austria-Hungary controlling them. That feeling led the the killing of Archduke Ferdinand.
- Inventors and scientist were on both on each other sides, building and upgrading weapon to give their sides an advantage.
- Later a few years, they sign a contract called "The Treaty of Versailles" which ended WWI. Germany was taken blamed for the war and had to give 1 million square miles of land away.
