This is a Myth about how the 4 seasons came to be.
Storyboard Text
- Demeter the goddess of Earth and her daughter would bring great soil to the earth. One day her daughter found a nice flower and picked it.
- That flower was actually a curse from Hades the God of the under world. He came up to Demeter and her daughter and toke her.
- Hades then toke her to the underworld and she ate the fruit of the underworld. That meant she could not go back up.
- Zeus herd about this all and he knew because the land was all dry and sad. He sent his messenger to tell Hades he would make a deal.
- The messenger told Hades that he could have Persephone for half of the year and the other half her mother could. Hades agreed.
- This is what created the 4 seasons. When she was with Hades it would be winter and fall. When she was with her mother it was spring and summer.
