  • This scene begins in the cave through which T'Challa led Killmonger before he died there. As the scene introduces the film, an almost pitch black setting is displayed. The camera, with an extreme long shot, begins to move smoothly and fluidly forward towards the opening of the cave, bringing in more light that streams through the tunnel view. This reveals the silhouette of a woman standing at the edge of the cave. There is African music playing with spaced out drum beats every few seconds

  • The camera eventually reaches the end of the cave and the various range of highly-saturated colour in the frame is revealed with an extreme wide shot of a sunrise. This includes the bright, warm colors of oranges and pinks that spread across the extensive mountain range of Wakanda. Shuri stands facing away from the camera, looking at the sunrise. As Shuri stands still, the African music continues, but the drum beats become quieter and are instead overcome by peaceful music and sounds such as birds whistling. The camera moves towards Shuri's side profile, still maintaining the mountain view to show her looking intently before her.

  • while the camera is focused on Shuri with a medium close up, her mother appears suddenly next to her, also looking at the view. The sun shines golden onto their faces. They stand in silence for a few seconds until her mother says "This was his favourite spot." They are silent for another few seconds until the mother speaks again, "He was a good king, his people loved him. They will love you too, Shuri." Shuri looks at her mother and smiles, then looks back towards the sunrise. The two simultneuosly do the wakanda salute as the music comes to a sudden stop.

  • A new frame reveals a brightly-coloured setting, displaying Wakanda's vibrant culture and natural richness in blue waterfalls and skies, and greenery. People are spread out across the expanse of the long shot, wearing traditional and vibrant African clothing. Traditional African tribal music plays as the chief gives a speech about the role of the new black panther. Shuri is crowned and looks up to the Wakandan people as the camera follows her view, starting from a low angle as she bows, then moving up. The music becomes triumphant as the view of the greatamount of Wakandan people is shown, to symbolize her rise in power.
