- Hello, I am 14 and am boarding at the dormitory at Frankfurt American High. My parents are currently at an Army base in Rothwesten.
- Frankfurt American High, 1964-65
- And, I'm one of her friends. We'll be sharing a stark history lesson.
- This here was the longest criminal trail in legal history. The SS members were charged with murdering thousands at the Auschwitz death camp.

- The court system required that every defendants guilt was set at a high standard. One of the former SS lawyers who was responsible for investigating the "corrupt" practices at that camp was testifying against them saying, " Thousands of people were killed there. Why didn't you say that was wrong." Even with that being said he was guilty of 5 murders, and 11 joint murders.
- We have seen these pictures of these starving prisoners
- And we've heard the testimony of Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem 3 years ago. But all of this was different because we have never heard these details before.
- For me being a ruthless army brat, I would never really realize the harsh reality of what really happend. I was in my own little adventure with my friends. My friends and I regularly walked through the few hundred meters due south of the I.G. Farben Building. It was used as a chemical company for the Zyklon B death gas.
- We would also go on the open sided paternoster elevator and giggle at the scare they gave us.
- Our parents counseled both of us in wariness and respect of our new German friends. There parents may have been a Nazi.
- The parents of our German friends wished there was no trial because they did not want to be reminded of the brutal past.
