- They walk into the room and see Joe on the ground, first thing the do is check and see if the environment is safe. then he gets down by Joe and checks for responsiveness with the shout tap shout. Joe is unresponsive so he calls on his partner to get the AED. while she gets it he checks Joes pulse and see if he is breathing for no more than 10 but more than 5 secs.
- He begins CPR on Joe
- He does 30 compressions and gives 2 breaths after for 2 minutes until the AED arrives
- she uses the AED while he is still doing CPR
- They continue doing CPR while listening the the commands of the AED for several more minutes
- Then finally Joe is back to normal.
