Dressing up as Indians
Lets go dump the tea!
On December 16, 1773, a group of colonists came together to form a meeting. This meeting was about the tax among they tea they bought to drink everyday. This meeting caused anger among the colonists because tea was something they used everyday! They claimed they would not pay taxes and came up with an idea that made history.
In the meeting the colonists came upon an idea to dress as Indians. The reason they were going to dress as Indians is because it would be a disguise for them to get onto the ships that pull into the harbor. Another reason they needed to dress up as Indians is because there were guards outside the ship. In order to get on you had to look like an Indian.
Here in this scene the colonists are in their disguise's. They are walking to the ships. During their walk to the ships and harbor they had to be very quiet. Once they got on the ship though they could be as loud as they wanted. One of the rules when they got on the ship was you could not seek any tea back with you.
