- well what you are talking about is called photosynthesis. by which plants use sunlight to make food. So fist the chloroplast goes on the hunt for sunlight, water,and carbon dioxide.
- So I have always wonders how plant can make there own food and oxygen for us.
- So after the chloroplast collects all that what happens?
- Okay well after all that the sunlight is captured by the chloroplast, Sunlight then enters the thin plant leaf. Which then the sunlight is stored in the chlorophyll located in the chloroplast.
- Plants do all of that wow. what else happens?
- well the stomata which is surrounded by two guard cells to regulate the opening and closing of it open and capture the carbon dioxide.
- So is that all ? The plants do so much.
- well not quit just a bit more steps. water and nutrients goes from the roots up the Xylem. we will talk about the phloem in a bit.

- Okay so when those the Phloem come in?
- Actually now. So the chloroplast in the leaf will take the sunlight,water,and CO2 to make glucose also know as sugar. Witch travels through the Phloem which conducts it to other parts of the plant.
