- Some women use contraception to reduce the pain or stop their periods. You can look at this leaflet and discuss it with doctor but you should speak to a trusted adult too.
- These cramps are so bad, I need to go to the school nurse.
- Holly, I've noticed you need to take time off in a monthly cycle. Is it your period?
- Mmmm... I take ibuprofen but sometimes its so bad I nearly faint.
- I can't speak to Dad about contraception, he'd assume I was having sex and kill me!
