Anthony, Octavius, and Lepidus have come together to destroy the men who killed Caesar.
Antony sends Lepidus to Caesar's house to fetch his will. When Lepidus leaves, Antony gives his opinion on Lepidus, and that he was a poor choice to form the second triumvirate.

A messenger informs Brutus that Cassius is not as friendly anymore.
"Thy evil spirit, Brutus"
Cassius arrives and starts an argument with Brutus because Brutus publicly disgraced a friend, which is exactly what Cassius told him not to do. They decide to take the argument inside the tent.
As the argument continues, Brutus finally tells Cassius he is angry because he never sent him the gold. Cassius becomes emotional and wants to be killed. They finally made up, and Brutus explains that he's become angry because of the death of Portia his mother.
While reading a book Brutus sees the ghost of Caesar appear. This is an omen of evil.
