From the perspective of most Native Americans, Westward Expansion was bad because fights would often start up, and thousands of acres of reservation land were being shortened and ignored by the US. Sadly, many Natives died from war and genocides. From the perspective of the US Settlers, they had a perfect opportunity to “start fresh” and move to a new area.
