- The story starts out with Zeus, the king of the gods, who could control all the weather and was nicknamed, "cloud-gatherer" and "thunderer". Zeus and his brother, Poseidon, the god of the sea and horses, hated each other and constantly fought. Poseidon was best known with a bad temper and was greatly feared because of his ability to cause earthquakes.

- The two brothers took their feud outside.

- Zeus was going to the gods and goddesses ball when he was met with his brother Poseidon. There was an unwanted tension between the two brothers. Poseidon has always been jealous of Zeus because he got all the attention and girls.
- Poseidon pulls a sword out to fight Zeus
- I have worked hard to get where I am, you have done nothing to even try to be a good person at all.
- You don't deserve to be king of the gods your unworthy
- Apollo watching the fight happen.
