- Legend has it that back un the 50's a woman named Guadalupe Leyva Flores was happy, because her dear Childhood friend, named Jesús, has asked her to marry him; Whithout thinking twice, she agreed immediately, because she had been ib love with him for a long time.
- The weeding date arrived, Lupita looked resplendent and happy, Jesús was already waiting for her un front of the altar to finally say “yes” in the eyes of god, however, everything was overshadowed when Ernesto, Lupita's Best friend, who was in love whit her, he couldn't bear to see all that... he pulled out a gun and shot Jesús in the head, killing him instantly, later Ernesto ended up committing suicide.
- Lupita was torn and crying, she couldn't believe what was happening, the love of her live was dead and her best friend too.
- The days passed and Lupita never resigned herself to the death of Jesús, so she could be seen walking through the streets dressed as a bride; Even on sundays she would go to mass wearing her already torn an dirty dress, imploring our Lord to return her great love.
- 30 years passed since Lupita wandered the streets of the small municipality of Culiacán until in 1980 she commited suicide on the esplanade of La lomita by jumping from above.
- Now it is said that many people have seen her spirit in the streets with her drees, they have seen her whitout her feet, floating, it means that she is a ghost, because her soul is not resting.
