It starts with an apprentice by the name of Perkin(Perkyn). He sold food and also loved the tavern very much.
Climax
It is better to take the rotten apple out of the bag than to have it rot all the other apples.
There was a cook by the name of Roger of ware. He had made food for a host and the host found the food to be terrible. He further chastised the man and the cook replies that he will have a story about a host on his way back.
Falling Action
We find out that he often steals from his master and drinks excessively.
Resolution
The apprentice gets fired due to his actions.
The apprentice goes off and finds a companion. She enjoys reveling as much as he does. She owns a shop but it is a cover up for her being a prostitute.
The story ends abruptly here. Some argue that he left the story unfinished on purpose and that the audience was supposed to assume the ending. The moral of the story is that bad behavior is punished in one way or another.
