I was shuffling through a box of pictures up in the attic. I found a picture of me as a baby, with a babygirl that looks exactly like me. Did my dad lie to me? Are you kidding me? This whole time?
I ruffled up the picture & stuck it in my pocket. I ran to my room & typed "The Warren Family." I clicked on 'images' & saw that girl now. She looks so much like me at the same age.
I stomped downstairs as loud as an earthquake, "Dad, are you kidding me?!" I yell, showing the picture. He jumps & turns around. "Maryn. You weren't suppose to see that." he stutters. "Where do they live?", I demanded.
After, multiple yelling. He mumbled, "West California." I finally pulled up, where she lives. "Mayli Warren.", I mumbled. I got in contact with her, & apparently she knows I'm here, since she's been trying to find me.
We finally met up at this diner, but we had to wait forever. As, I struggled to sit still at the table, my heart was pounding like a banging drum. I could even her it, "Bum, Thum." Finally, I saw the door open, it was her. Actually her.
I ran & we both jumped into each other's arms like it was the first & last time seeing each other. "Maryn.", "Mayli." We both said panting, in the corner of my eye I saw my mom. I let go & hug her, "I'm sorry I lost you." "It's fine...Momma." At that moment, she found the lover she wanted. Just because love is split, doesn't mean it's not there.
