In the year 1911 general Diaz quit the presidency and abandoned the country.
Afterwards, elections were held and Francisco I. Madero was triumphant.
Madero and the vice president pino suarez were assassinated under orders of general victoriano huerta who usurped the presidency of mexico.
Venustiano Carranza, Governor of Coahuila drew up the Guadalupe Plan where he claimed false presidency against Victoriano Huerta.
In february 1913 a group of militaries supported by the ambassador of the United states rebelled against the government in Mexico city.
That episode was known as la decena tragica because in 10 days the battle was met with the death of millions of people
