- Zeus commands Calypso to let Odysseus go and to give him a raft.
- “Don’t you love me just a little? What don’t you like about me? I’ll change!"
- "The water tasted like air like sweet, fresh air!"
- When Odysseus left a golden trident Poseidon owned hit the sea and it ended up throwing Odysseus into the ocean.
- When Odysseus was stranded in the ocean a sea nymph came and used her magic scarf to help him.
- "the girl continued to wriggle and giggle and tow"
- The sea nymph left and Odysseus and he arrived at this place. The girls asked who he was but they laughed because he looked so old.
- “Ladies! How can you ever forgive me for my behavior? How can I ever make you believe that I am Odysseus, King of Ithaca, returning from the Trojan Wars?”
- "If you were to turn your back while we got out of the river, we might just believe you were a gentleman!”
- Odysseus goes to the palace of King Alcinous and the king says he will give fresh clothes, a ship with gifts and men to bring him back home safely.
- “You told my daughter Nausicaa that you are Odysseus, King of Ithaca, and I can see in your eyes that youspoke the truth.
- Odysseus slept the whole journey home and it felt so good. Finally they reached Ithaca.
