Storyboard Description
This is my storyboard project for language arts. This is due on Tuesday and it is worth a quiz grade. Make sure to finish over the weekend.
Storyboard Text
- This is the scene when Johnny tells Ponyboy and Dally that he wants to turn himself into the police. After living in the church, Johnny must have felt very guilty about killing Bob.
- Maybe I should turn myself in...?
- Did my parents ask about me?
- In this scene, Johnny asks Dally if his parents asked about him while he was gone. This shows that Johnny really does care about his parents and that he must want them to care about him. Dally hastily says no and that he shouldn't care about what his parents think, making Johnny very upset.
- Dally shows that he doesn't only care about himself by the way he talked to Johnny about going to jail. He told him that he didn't want to see Johnny getting hurt or getting hardened in jail. He shows that he really cares about Johnny, not just himself.
- In this scene Johnny and Ponyboy realize that they started the in the church with one of their cigarettes. They run into the church to try an save the kids. As Ponyboy gets out of the church he realizes that Johnny is not with him. He heard Johnny scream and then fell asleep.
- On the way to the hospital, Ponyboy talks to Jerry, a teacher of the children in the church. Jerry says that Ponyboy and Johnny were heroes. Ponyboy asked about Johnny an Dally. Dally would be okay, he was just a little burned, but they weren't too sure about Johnny, he had been hurt pretty badly.
- Where's Johnny and Dally?
- Ponyboy sees Soda and Darry at the hospital. Darry apologizes for hitting Ponyboy and for the first time, he started to cry. Which proved Ponyboy wrong, he then realized that Darry did care about him. Darry told Pony that he had thought he lost him, like his parents.
- I'm sorry- I thought that we lost you- like mom and dad!
