In 305 AD, Constantine visited his father and went into battle with him
During battle his father died, so the soldiers named him their emperor.
In 312 AD, Constantine went into battle and saw a sign with a cross and letters that said, "You will conquer by this sign." Constantine put this symbol everywhere and they were victorious.
In 313 AD, Constantine ended the persecuting of Christians, so Christianity began to grow.
As emperor, Constantine renamed the capitol Constantinople.
