- Yes the steam engine releases a gas called Carbon-dioxide which causes global warming. The Steam Engine helped goods to become more affordable as after it was invented people could import stuff from different countries thru railways.
- we were taught about global warming in school. Does the gas released by the steam engine have a similar effect?
- The invention of the steam engine also started the auto-mobile industry and helped people to move big distances without sailing the oceans.
- The invention of the stream engine started the tourism industry. It also caused companies to start making machines to make work done faster and more efficiently than before.
- With all these advantages there were disadvantages as well, Firstly global warming became a major problem.
- Secondly, with people travelling from one country/county to another some of the destinations became overcrowded.
- Thirdly, people that came back from other parts of the world they brought items with them and labelled them as their own and sold them causing the item to lose its value.
