- The Patriots fought on home soil which was a huge advantage because they liked to retreat, blend into surroundings and attack when least expected so knowing the way the land worked was very helpful.
- The women stayed back at home to cook and make sure that the village was in good shape. They primarily stayed home and didn't go to war.
- During the war of 1812, the Native Americans joined forces with the redcoats (British) because the Native Americans were planning heir own war against the USA.
- The British Ruler declared all slaves and African Americans to be freed but to be sent out to fight in the war. The African Americans fought in many wars including, The battle of Saratoga, The Valley Forge, Battle of Yorktown and the Battle of Lexington and Concord. The African Americans fought shoulder to should to free whites.
- All though the British had the African Americans and the Native Americans, the Colonists had the France who fought off British and gave the Colonists food and supply's.
