- hello I am the French explorer la salle I arrived in Texas in 1685 I was already famous from exploring the length of the missipi river i also convinced the king of france to establish a colony at the mouth of the missippi river so i set out with 4 ships I lost one to pirates and another one from a sand bar in the bay then I built ft Louis on the Texas coast claming the region for france but we ran into the krawanka tribe witch we did not get along then the French colony had problem due to diseases and drought.

- hello i am the spanish explorer coranido and more than 1000 men went to search for the golden city in 1540 and they thought they found it but it was just an adobe villiage they discovered the Pacific ocean,grand canyon and the Palo duro canyon but never found the seven cities after Spanish lostinterest and then another country took interest in 1685 and Spanish was interested once again
