We knew that this conflict was Man Vs. Nature because Lyddie was trying to get the bear out of her house in this scence, and a bear is a part of nature.
In this scene, we knew it was Man Vs. Man because the Mistress was upset with Lyddie for leaving the inn and she fired Lyddie.
We knew that this is man vs society because at that time Lyddie had to work in a mill. Women were forced to work in harsh conditions. This only occured because the society thought that this was the right thing .
